Why is the North Florence intersection called “seven points” when there are only 6 roads intersecting? Did you know that there were originally 7 roads coming together? As seen in this comparison, the image on the left (from 1970s) shows all 7, while the image on the right (from 2016) shows that there are now only 6 because Howell Street was shortened to intersect Royal Avenue.
